Vogue 8750--The Moleskin Skirt

So who knew I would actually have the very fabric recommended for the skirt in my stash?  I picked up two pieces of moleskin at Hancock's recently.  Both pieces are intended to match a knit print for a top I'm making.  I've had Vogue 8750 for a while now and thought it would perfect for the skirt.  As it happens, moleskin is the first recommended fabric.  I'm excited about the project; however, I'm not a fan of grosgrain ribbon instead of waistband facings.  I'm going to try it anyway....  I spent this evening cutting it out--I'll work on finishing it tomorrow.
